| Each puppy who leaves us resides in our hearts forever. We love getting updates and pictures to smile over and reminisce from our adoptive families. It warms our hearts to know that our puppies are doing well and have become to you what ours are to us. Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to write and call with updates. Here are a few we'd like to share: | ||||||||||
Dear Robin,
If we could have walked
down a line of pups and hand chosen one, we could not
have done better! I am just so impressed and amazed at
how happy, well adjusted, healthy, loving and PERFECT
Nanook is! He is the perfect best buddy for RJ. Now,
we get to watch them grow up together! RJ's 10th
birthday was a dream come true for all of us. Your hard
work and love has really paid off and has SO made my
little man happier than words can say. He has been
dreaming of having a husky for so many years and now, he
actually has a warm, fuzzy, happy, playful, cuddly,
sweet and PERFECT buddy to share his life with! Nanook
is 11 weeks old now, doing really well with potty
training, leash training, and all the other little
things that RJ has taught him already. He is SO smart!
He is awesome and amazing. Thank you so much for all
you do to brighten the lives of those who are lucky
enough to have their own Hero! Thank you! We love him!
AJ, Robert, RJ, Ryan and River Sapp
From RJ....
Ms. Robin,
I love Nanook. He is everything I wanted! He sleeps
with me and loves me already. He is such a good boy and
we will have a lot of fun together. Thank you for
having him for me. I love him.
RJ Sapp ![]() ************************************************************************************** Dear Robin, Frank and Jacob, Words cannot express how grateful Gary and I are to all of you for entrusting us with Jasper (Hero’s Jasper Alberta Blue). Robin, as you told us all along, the pictures simply could not convey how very beautiful he is and how wonderful his temperament is. He has fit right in with the rest of our pack and our female, Tasha, has taken him under her wing as though he were her own. It has been a truly special experience observing the interactions between all the dogs and the cat – Jasper has adjusted so well and I know it is because of the extraordinary amount of socialization and attention he received while in your care. He steals the heart of everyone who sees him and his exceptional beauty is a source of pride for us as everyone remarks on his gorgeous face, coat and disposition. We love telling everyone that he is a Hero’s Husky! We wanted to take a moment to explain why we chose Hero’s Huskies and why we will come back to you for our next Husky. As you know, we are animal lovers, having three other dogs and a cat, all rescues. We take our ownership responsibilities very seriously and we wanted to be sure that when we selected a purebred to add to our “pack”, it would be from someone who respects the breed and who met certain standards that we had. Though a number of kennels also certified their dogs and met those “requisites” that books recommend you look for, we were looking for an additional special quality in a breeder that is sometimes hard to define. We actively searched the internet and independent of each other, Gary and I both decided Hero’s Huskies was the right fit. Your love for the breed and for each of your dogs was readily apparent. Your interest in educating visitors to your site about the Husky breed was impressive as was your interest in making sure that everyone understands the obligations associated with bringing a puppy into their home. Most importantly, it was very obvious after communicating with you, that insuring a good fit between a prospective owner and a Hero’s Husky pup is a critical element in your decision to sell someone a puppy. This is so important to Gary and I because we have three rescued dogs that someone, at some point, decided wasn’t a good fit with their lifestyle. That “match” at the beginning of a dog’s life is so important and it is obviously a priority for you. Your professionalism was so apparent and your intent to insure a good home for Jasper was exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the course of this journey, Robin, you have been remarkable. It was so exciting to get the call the day Jasper was born – you described it all from A to Z and we felt like we were there. The time you took to send pictures was so appreciated by us. Those pictures not only meant so much to Gary and me, but to both of my parents who are afflicted with Alzheimer’s. Pictures of Jasper brought a spark to their eyes that we had not seen in a long time. Now that he is home, he is an integral part of their lives and brings joy to them every time he sees them. Also, your support in assisting us with integration and socialization issues with the other dogs once we brought Jasper home was immeasurably helpful – no doubt, it eased the transition for everyone. As you know, we could not resist the temptation to drive all the way from Tucson to Texas to get Jasper – your willingness to meet us at a time that was probably not the most convenient will forever be appreciated. That weekend will always be an indelible memory for Gary and me - you and Frank made it so special. When you took Jasper out of his crate with his little blue bandana on, we just melted………he was everything and more than we ever expected…….our precious Jasper named after our favorite place on this Earth. Please be assured that Jasper will forever be loved and well cared for. He is healthy, happy, and has fit in so well with the pack. We will enjoy watching him grow and develop his own unique personality. We promise to keep you saturated with pictures because we know it must have been so hard to see him go…………… *************************************************************************************
Wow, where do I begin? The experience
I've had with Robin and, Frank has been wonderful! I
couldn't have asked for a better puppy! My husband and I
first found "Hero's Huskies" on a puppy find web-site and,
we really liked how informative their web-site was. I sent
and e-mail that we were interested in getting a puppy from
them and within minutes I was on the phone with Robin!
While we were on the phone she went out to say hi to the
pack...and I was hooked! I did a bunch of research on the
husky breed and Robin told me things I didn't find. We
finally brought home our little boy, Kodiak, 2 weeks ago!
We recently had him we had a bit of a scare with him.
He started refusing to eat or drink and dehydration is a big
issue with puppies. It turned out to just be worms he had
picked up from the stray cats in our neighborhood...we feed
them, so our yard is like their toilet. I called Robin
throughout that whole day and she was such a great help!
She gave me encouragement and told me to do things I hadn't
even thought about...like putting a little Pedialite in with
his water to help with the dehydration! I felt a lot better
knowing that I can call her and, she will help as best she
can. It is greatly appreciated by my family and I! Kodiak
is doing great now and, he is a perfect addition to our
family! We are going to be adopting a new member at the
beginning of next year, if all goes as planned and, we will
be going back to Robin again. Thanks for a wonderful puppy
and great experience! Can't wait to do it again!

************************************************************************************* Dear Robin, Frank, and Jacob… Thank you so much for entrusting us with Paikea Taitin (a.k.a., Hero’s Third Times the Charm), daughter of Kimosabe and Aspen. Pai is loving, feisty, smart, silly, hyperactively playful, and affectionate to the nth degree. She has beautiful markings, deceptively-innocent looking eyes (LoL), and a perpetually raised tail that never stops wagging. She is the perfect companion for our 2 year old sibe, Malkin, who adores her. Everyone who sees her has to pet her. Everyone she meets, she has to kiss. And they’ve all said the same thing: “she’s just the most loveable little pup!” Even though she’s the third puppy we were planning to take in from you guys, she is without question the one we were meant to have all along. She has brought so much love, joy and laughter to our family; and that is a true testament to how she was raised. Malkin came from rescue, and was an absolute hellion with behavioral problems that took a lot of time and effort to work through (though you’d never guess it now). Paikea was the opposite. She’s the Energizer Rabbit of Siberian Huskies (LoL), but she’s friendly with everyone, curious about everything, and will do just about anything to cuddle, get some belly rubs, and give lots and LOTS of kisses. And that wouldn’t be the case if she hadn’t been bred by knowledgeable sibe-folk, raised in a loving home, and well socialized from the start. Her temperament and conformation are just perfect, and she’s already proven to have the drive to be a true working sled dog…not to mention the potential for Agility! We can never thank you enough for sticking with us, and sharing the insanity of the “Great Memphis Husky Haul.” J Sometimes, I can’t believe we pulled it off: getting Pai home to Ohio, Hero home to Michigan, and Arrow home to you in one weekend (Arrow’s growing up beautifully, btw!). There just aren’t enough words to describe how much we and Malkin love Paikea, and what she’s brought to our family. When it comes time to get our third sibe (and there will be a third…and a fourth…and, well, you get the idea J), Hero’s Huskies will be the first place we look. Love, Jane, Kelly, Malkin, Paikea, and the Feline Nine in Ohio Paikea’s dogster page: http://www.dogster.com/?209915 Robin: I just wanted to say, thanks again for your continued advice and support. Knowing that if I have any questions and concerns I can express them to you is such a wonderful additional comfort. Trineo is an extraordinary pup! He knows who rules the roost, HIM! And our family loves every moment of it! I would love for other families to know how well your Heroes fit with every member of the family. I’ve mentioned before that I have three children, 12, 11, and 3. Trineo adapts his actions to each of them, just instantly knowing what each child needs from him. He is our joy, our comfort, our laughter…our own Hero. Thank you. Elona Cervantes Hickory, Mississippi
Robin,
We Love our little Hero, Robin you're awesome & gave us an awesome new addition to our family!! I can't wait to get him into a harness & see what he can do, I know he's gonna be able to do amazing things in the future!! Hopefully he has that running instinct just like his daddy Echo! Hero is growing like a weed. Well I got 5 pics of him today before it got too dark, we went on a walk & are so sad that all of our snow is gone... they said we are gonna have snow 2 more times & then it's gonna melt fast & that's probably all the snow we're gonna get for the rest of the year!!! That means ALOT of cancelled racers, I know mushers aren't gonna be too darn happy! Well our little bundle of fur is just what I wanted, from markings, to personality he is perfect!!
Everyone who meets him is in awe of him, he is truly what I
expected to get from you, & our veterinarian was in love, he
said he knew quality when he saw it & that's what Hero
was!!! He went to the vet today for a check up & our vet
said said that he wanted to know how I came across such a
Siberian of great quality! Thank you so much!

Dear Robin Frank and Jacob, We want to thank you for giving us such a wonderful addition to our family !! We are also so grateful for all the extra care and attention you had given to Aaliya. We appreciate your weekly photos, which helped us watch her grow, and fill the long eight week wait. Aaliya is so sweet, extremely smart and very well adjusted. She just loves to talk, and got off the plane announcing to everyone that she was finally here!! It is very clear how much love attention and "SPOILING" she was given while with you. She has filled our hearts and taken over our house!! Robin, after our very first conversation many months ago, I knew our puppy had to be a Hero's Husky! You are so knowledgeable, caring and always available to answer my endless questions and offer advice. Our experience with you has been outstanding, and hopefully a relationship that will continue.

Robin,
Just wanted to tell you how much we love Sami. From the
minute she arrived, she was nothing but a joy. I have never
laughed so much in my life. For @ least a good hour she more
interested in giving me kisses then anything else. When we got
home, we took her inside as it was much to late to introduce
her to everyone else. She could not come to grips with the
fact the hardwood floor was beating her every attempt to stay
on all four feet. She'd get running (while playing with my
cat) and next thing she knew, she was on her side sliding
across the floor. She always got up, looked around to make
sure no one had witnessed that, and went back to playing. The
next day she went outside to meet her new friends. She played
with Kayla's pup (who was leaving that day) and sat quietly
while Kayla gave her tons of kisses and love. Tim let Libby
out to play with her the other day and it went wonderfully. Of
course, no one can put aside Sami's funny antics. Libby
knocked Sami over on her way running by, stopped, and looked @
her with this comical gaze on her face. Sami, looked Libby
right in the eyes and went into a barking fit. Guess Libby
took the hint and Sami got her appoligy, they played nice from
there on out. She'll also grab Kayla's tie-out and attempts to
play tug o' war, with Kayla on it.
Shoot, she's even gotten her selective hearing down and
will pretend (occasionally) to not hear me when I call. But
when she's ready to play with her other mommy, she comes
running, jumps immediately into my arms, and gives me
wonderful puppy kisses. She's an absolute joy to be around. I
knew she was the one and now that she's here, she most
definately is. Thanks again, and when the time comes, I will
most definately return to your kennel for other new additions.
Thanks, Tenley

Robin, Frank, and Jacob,
Where do I begin to thank you, not only for the most
beautiful puppy from Choctaw and Callie, but for
the whole journey we have made together in this selection
process.
Robin- I first contacted you via E-mail about your
website and a pretty little puppy I had seen from the
Hero Kennel, back on Feb. 14th. You telephoned me a day or two
later and we must have talked for over an hour. I told you
about a very bad experience I had been through with a kennel
in Dade County, Florida.
How I had sent out a deposit for a puppy I had found on line
and then found out that this was more or less
a puppy mill and the puppy that I had fallen in love with
through pictures on her website, would not be
getting off the plane to meet me, as this puppy and it's
pedigree was "manufactured" and did not exist at
this kennel, but was pictures of other dogs from reputable
kennels. I told you how heartbroken I was
as I had loved this puppy from the first time I had seen it's
picture and how duped I had felt.
You were very sympathetic with my situation and reassured
me that I would be welcome to visit your
kennel and to either pick up the puppy or have it flown in to
us. (The "kennel" in Florida had refused
to let us come and pick up our puppy or to come and see it in
person before it was shipped to us-which is
when we became superstitious and began to investigate this
place.)
You were so knowledgeable about the Siberian and
everything it takes to love and raise one and to keep
it healthy and happy. You shared with me the story of your
beloved Hero and I could still hear the pain in
your voice as you spoke of him. I also heard joy and
excitement in your voice when you told me about your other
"four legged family members" and I could hear in your voice
the love and bond you have with each one! These are not just
dogs to you and your husband and son, but are friends and
beloved companions.
After our call, I felt like I had known you for a long
time. You take such care in "selecting" people
to continue to love and care for the puppies that you help
bring into this world. You want the person
getting the puppy to make the right choice and you want the
puppy to get the best home!
My "baby" Tu Tanka was born on April 23rd and you called
me that afternoon to share the good news with me. I have
saved all of my E-mails from you and in this span of time from
Feb until now I have over 58 e-mails back and forth with
you. I can only imagine how busy you are but you still have
taken the time to keep me posted on the progress your
beautiful Callie was making in her pregnancy and to answer any
and all of my many questions. Knowing that we all are anxious
and excited to get up-dates on our puppies, you send us out
pictures and keep us posted on their growth and personalities.
I feel very blessed and fortunate to have discovered your
website as it not only led me to a wonderful little girl and
companion for us and our three year old Sibe but to a new and
trusted friend that truly cares about the placement of her
puppies. This is not a "job" or business to the three of you,
but a true labor of love. All three of you are dedicated and
devoted to the Siberian breed and it shows in each and every
litter that you have! Ohio is quite a ways from Ledbetter,
Texas but well worth the distance to have come away with a
wonderful new friend and a beautiful little puppy.
Jacob, I so appreciate the love and care that you gave to
Tu!! I hope someday i can meet you and your mom and
Frank and thank you all in person for spoiling our girl and
helping to bring her into this world! You should be very
proud of yourself and all that you do! I will take care of
Tu and we already love her -thanks for helping Ed and I get
such a sweet baby!
God bless all of you and your beautiful Sibes! You folks will always remain friends and trusted teachers for my husband and myself as we love and care for our new little girl. The next sibe we choose will be a Hero! Thank you and God Bless!

____________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Robin, After the wait Sage is everything and more than I had expected . She has already made herself at home, inspecting the whole house upside down. I love her so much, as well as her new big brother Crimson. Her unique mask and beautiful green eyes seem to draw everyone around to admire her, and she loves the attention. She was so friendly when we picked her up from the airport. I would like to thank you so much for your help and for picking out my special and one of a kind green eyed beauty. I will update you as she grows into a wonderful adult. And if I have any questions, you bet I’ll be calling. Many Thanks, Coral Soto (Los Angeles) _______________________________________________________ Robin thank you so very much for Ziggy. He's very lovable and very sweet to us, we really enjoy having him in our family and to know that he came from a loving family like yours is a happy one as well. He's doing fine, he barks at the cats its its so funny because when he barks he jumps and puts his butt on the ground and then he barks. The funny thing that i noticed was that when he drinks his water he puts his paws in the water and splashes the water out of his bowl. He's a very cuddly dog and when he dreams his body moves and its so very funny and cute as well. Well when he goes potty he walks with me to the porch and sometimes walk inside the house with me to. He began to talk to me the 2nd day when he was home and i talked back to him as well, last night when my husband came home from work he began to talk to him as well. He's a very good boy and we enjoy having him in our family and again thank you so much. Shashauna (New Mexico) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Robin & Frank, Thank You for everything that you have done to help us out in our search for Achilles. We are pleased with our new addition to the family. He is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. Thank You so much for being there for any questions we needed answered. We knew we wanted a puppy from you the day that I spoke to you on the phone. You are wonderful people and I am glad I was given a chance to know you. Thanks again, The Grates (Germany) ___________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Robin, I absolutely love mason. He’s is such a sweetheart. J He definitely knows the word No (ha ha) He’s testing his boundaries with what I will and will not let him do. My cat are also adjusting to mason---mia (my female calico) was already around him on the first day she lets him know that she is queen of the house J and miles (my black male) didn’t come out of my bedroom for the first 4 days—that was pretty funny but he’s starting to come around. I keep an eye on mason bc he tries to play with miles but I don’t want him to get hurt so I don’t really let him near miles until I know that miles is adjusted. I’m sure within the next few months miles will be happy to have mason here. When I lived in new jersey miles would play with both my parents labs. Yesterday was the first day that we really hung out in the park with mason…he loved it and as soon as we got home he fell asleep J Mason is at his chewing stage now so we do tell him no a lot but I bought him a few toys for teething, including a chilly bone…he loves that one. I’ll send you some pictures hopefully by the middle of july. He looks so cute playing with mia J I am very happy of our choice to go with Hero’s Huskies and we will come back to you for our future playmate for mason. Tania (Phoenix Arizona) ______________________________________________________________________________________
Hi Robin, I am sorry it took us this long to email you back... We have been so busy getting Koda Blue settled in his new home. I can't describe to you in words the joy he has brought to Clayton and I. His little expressions, his constant playing and bouncing are a great source of entertainment. He only cried for about 10 minutes the first night here, I had the idea to put on classical music and he went right to sleep. However, if we forget to turn on the music at bedtime he howls at us from his kennel. He is such a sweetheart. We took him to our vet and he had a great check up. Koda is in perfect health. Thank you for all your help. We love him. Karen (New Orleans, Louisiana) ____________________________________________________________________________________ hi robin, sorry i have not written we have been very busy. rose has been going every where with us and has been enjoying the many kids that are around all of the time. she is getting very comfortable here and is very mischevious. she is so funny she will be running through the house and she has to chew on everything as she runs by it. we are constantly following her around taking everything out of her mouth. bratty little girl she is. she is still learning about not pooping at the top of my stairs!@!!!!!!!!! she is an awesome puppy and she is just what i wanted. i have been working with her about coming to me when i am calling her name while we are outside. she is catching on just not every time. her and the little kitty have become buddies. the weiner dog is an old grouch and wont play with her but that is ok i just let rose chew on him. that will teach him!!!!! i will send pics within the next week.
