| Introducing one of our show boys, Pirate. He is an amazing brown eyed Sable with personality oozing out of him! Pirate hails from Sheair Siberians and is my pride and joy! He goes everywhere I go, has attended basic advanced obedience, passed attending puppy obedience and is doing very well in the ring. Pirate loves to tear up paper towels. Where he find the rolls he destroys in the house I'll never know - I think the Persians are in on this conspiracy! Once he has a big mess, he will sleep in the middle of it all with the cats curled up beside him. Pirates pedigree is awesome and I am very proud to have him. Follow him closely over the next 18 months while we point and finish him. Update: Pirate took Best of Opposite Sex in November! |
An awesome addition to the Hero pack, Smokey is a striking stud with a pedigree to match! He is five years old, pointed, and throws awesome puppies! Smokey is still a puppy at heart, having never outgrown his love to play! He is a talker, often persuading all of the others to join in his serenades! Smokey likes to run, and is full speed ahead in anything he does. We are very excited to have been blessed by this lovable boy and eager to finish him in the ring! Update: Smokey took Winners Dog at the Reliant July 24th! |
Rico is a gentle, blue eyed gentleman, with great manners and a regal air about him. He is a blue eyed, black and white dilute with a very laid back disposition. He proudly gives kisses for treats, loves to ride in the car, but most importantly eats up the attention from the ladies that flock to pet him and ooooh and ahhh over him! He just soaks up compliments! Retired.

Hero's Walk Like An Egyptian |
Color Me An Awesome Hero "Gemini"
|
![]() Hero's Gold Digger "Klondyke"
|
|
Meet Pharoah. He is as regal as his name, and at only 19 months promises to live up to every bit of it. Pharoah was a keeper from a litter we produced last year from Molly and Klondyke. He is an amazing grey and white, with striking blue eyes. He has perfect conformation, headset and gait.. Another shot of Pharoah in the Texas Bluebonnets last Spring:
Hero's South of the Border "Rojo" This awesome boy hails from the best bloodlines of both Spain and Guatamala. Rojo and his sister "Reason" are siblings and we are proud to be the only kennel in North America with this distinct bloodline. Rojo will enter the showring this summer once his papers are converted from a latin american registry to AKC. We will be retaining this bloodline and will not be granting full registration on any offspring from it. What an honor and privilege it is to have obtained such an awesome line! He is in coat blow presently, but his gait, conformation and attitude reassure me of a great decision to have added him to the Hero pack! Thank you to mi amigo in Merida, Mexico! |
Gemini is my husbands personal pet and occasionally used in our breeding program. He is a gorgeous light red male with blue eyes. One of the very few Siberians that I've ever seen successfully retrieve a ball. This guy can entertain himself for hours with a ball, throwing it in the air and retrieving it! He would much rather someone throw it for him, though! He's very laid back and relaxed, loves cats and actually sleeps with one of our cats. His lineage has Echo Call lines.
|
Klondyke is a beautiful, solid white, parti-eyed (one blue, one blue and brown eye) with personality like a court jester! He loves to tease, make me laugh and has some of the silliest antics ever! He's always clowning around and takes nothing seriously. He lays spread eagle over his Dogloo, cocking his head at birds as if to figure out why they can fly and how he can figure out how to fly as well. Klondyke is Smokey's son and sires some awesome puppies! |

Our Heroines

Hero's Parole Violation "Felony" |
Hero's Chukchi Pride "Holly" |
Hero's Twist of Fate "Kharma" |
|
Felony is a gorgeous brown eyed, black and white dilute. She comes by her name quite honestly... for she is the menace of the pack. She is so sweet, though, that you'd never believe her capable of the mayhem that seems to follow her! She teases the others by stealing toys, chewies or whatever they have that she wants! She is an accomplished burglar! |
Holly is our couch potato. Originally Hero's mate, she mourns him still. With her parti-eye (one blue, one blue with a tad of brown in it), she appears quite the court jester. She can jump, from all fours, an easy 6 feet. She can dance and loves to talk to you in her deep woooo woooo voice. Holly is a remarkable love bug and fantastic mother. Very much the Alpha Female, she patiently teaches the younger huskies the order of the pack. She is an excellent leader and gently corrects those out of line. Holly is an AKC Canine Good Citizen. Her place of honor is the couch or bed. Retired. |
Kharma is a bi-eyed black and white AKC female from Shallow Creek Siberians. She is a very active girl, and had just been playing in the recent hole she dug before relaxing for me to get a rare photo of her. She's always on the move, loves dirt and being a "tomgirl". She has amazing structure, a great topline and a "look at me" personality. This girl actually struts! Look for Kharma's progress in the ring and in CGC as she grows up. Welcome, Kharma! |
|
Hero's Goddess of Mischief "Loki" |
Hero's Tough As Nails |
Hero's For a While Maybe Longer "Amy" |
|
Loki is a gorgeous red and white bi-eyed female. She is Pharoah's sister and the daughter of Klondyke. Loki is typical husky puppy... into everything! She is a talker, and loves to woo woo just to hear herself! When she gets into something, most recently a 50lb bag of Miracle Gro soil, she shreds it, rolls in it then proudly announces her feat to whoever will listen. Loki loves baths, and lays in the grooming tub while getting lathered up. Sometimes we find her in the tub, curled up taking a nap, perhaps waiting for someone to come bathe her again! She is 6 months old in this picture. |
This is a momma's girl, and she has an extraordinary story to tell. While huskies are not aggressive, nursing moms will try to get another mom's pups through a fence, perhaps thinking that it too is theirs. When Tonka was three weeks old, she wiggled under the dividing panel. The neighboring female tried to pull her through by her nose. Our vet said that she should probably be put down, as she could not nurse without a nose. Tonka wanted so badly to live! Her injury was difficult to heal because of the inability to keep medicine on it (she wouldn't be able to breathe) or wash it. She couldn't eat, so we placed a tube down her throat into her stomach and pushed fluids every 2 hours. We dabbed the wound with Q-tips several times daily. Each day, she began improving, and at 6 weeks began eating on her own! Now, at 5 months, she is a testament to strength and determination. We could all learn something from Tonka and all dogs, as they don't recognize a disability in others. Although she has no nose, it doesn't slow her down. Tonka is training to be a therapy dog, where she can take her story to others that have disabilities. Anyone who has ever met her is enchanted by her spirit. |
Amy is a blue eyed red and white female sired by Magnum. She is very laid back and loves tummy rubs (what dog doesn't?) she is two years old and very well behaved. She enjoys long walks, tormenting the chickens and squeaky toys. She prefers being in the house or laying near the pond, watching the dragonflies and butterflies dance on the flowers. |

"Reason" or "Rea" |
Hero's Rhapsody In Red
|
|
This beautiful blue eyed girl is silly! The picture speaks a thousand words! Getting in the pond was no accident... she does this on purpose. She dives for the goldfish, and will absolutely not come out! She drives Randle nuts with this obsession, because she tangles up the lilies. In order to get her out, you have to literally go in after her. Shasta is a beautiful grey and white, and aside from her water fetish, she is otherwise a great girl with knockout looks and a wonderful personality.

Take a
look at our newest addition, Rea. Rea is an import from
Merida, Mexico. Her father, CH Xtreme Del Karraces,
took the Barcelona Nationals in Spain and is currently one of
the top dogs there. Her mother is from the top bloodlines
of Guatamala. We are still researching the foreign
pedigree and titles for her mother, so the pedigree you pull up
is Rea's sires. What an experience getting her here!
We took a trip to Merida and due to translation issues, were
unable to get her and her 2 siblings back during that visit.
They were then flown from Merida to Matamoras and friends
brought them across the border and met us in Brownsville!
We stayed in a hotel that evening, and I couldn't figure out why
the pups wouldn't come to me when I called. Wasn't until
the next morning it dawned on me that they don't understand
English! Vamonose! got them running to me right away!

What a gorgeous girl this one is! A deep, rich red with a nice plush coat, She and Pirate play for hours together and love to gang up on the cats! Rap loves squeaky toys, and we are teaching her that a cat is not a squeaky! She has completed basic obedience and has obtained her CGC. She is an amazing pet and great mom! She still doesn't care much for the cats, but tolerates them and antagonizes Merlin every chance she gets. She's convinced that huskies are superior to cats (don't tell the felines this!) and is out to prove it to us with her silly antics around them. Her favorite pasttime is herding the cats until they are all on top of the refrigerator glaring at her. They have a stare down for hours, until one of the cats gets tired of being up there, jumps down and the fun begins anew! |

Hero's Smoldering Fire and Ice
|
Hero's Pocket Change "Penny" |
Ravenwoods Sierra Silver Tundra "Sierra" |
|
This beautiful siren red and white AKC female has the most vivid blue eyes and exceptional carriage and conformation. Ember is champion sired, has an impressive pedigree and she sets our hearts on fire each time we see her! She is a kisser, and it's difficult to take her picture, as she wants to tackle me to smother me in kisses. Her weakness is a plush squeaky toy, which she worries with until she pulls the stuffing and the squeaker out of it! We are so very proud to call this exceptional husky a Hero!
|
Penny was retained by us from a breeding between Mulah and Seger. She is a grey and white brown eyed girl full of mischief! At twelve weeks old, pictured above, she appears to be mild mannered, when in fact, it took over 30 shots of her to get one that was not blurred. I've nicknamed her "Monster" because she taunts and teases the cats into playing with her and, quite frankly, terrorizes everything. She has perfect gait, a beautiful head and her conformation at this early age is just perfect! A very sweet girl, eager to give kisses and hugs, but just as eager to be put down so she can chew up shoes, clothes, wood from the fireplace... anything she can run off with. There is a basketball size hole in my leather sofa thanks to her! We are very proud to have produced such an awesome pedigree. Update: Penny did very well at the Reliant show in July. She was very good for her first time in the ring, particularly for such a large show!
|
Sierra is Magnum's sister and a very friendly social butterfly! She just loves everyone. She has Magnum's phenomenal silver coloration, and his extraordinary good looks, too! Her favorite playmate is Rhapsody, and they love to play tag with each other. Each one takes turns chasing the other for an imaginary toy or bone. Sierra doesn't wooo wooo (that's Siberian for talking) much, but when she does, its worth listening too... she can drag out a high note for 2 minutes! |
|
Hero's Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous "Paris"
|
"Taboo" |
|
|
Paris is a blue eyed solid white female with liver points (nose and eyeliner). She is Gemini and Cognac's daughter and is sweet and endearing. Paris is a very nurturing mother to her own pups, as well as other animals. She mothers the cats, chickens, other huskies, even stuffed animals! If given a Greenie, she won't eat it, she'll snuggle it up next to her! |
Taboo is a sweet natured, brown eyed black and white that loves the water! She sticks her entire head in a bucket to drink and loves the lake and beach. Most huskies will play in water, but dislike being bathed... not this girl! Taboo is currently in training for her Spring debut in the showring. |

Cats &
Huskies

Huskies have a very strong prey drive and cannot always be trusted around smaller animals or rodents unless they have been socialized with them from birth. All of our huskies are introduced to our cats from birth. They accept the cats as part of their pack. They share our home and our lives with us! Pictured above are Gemini and Chevy Luv playing on the bed. Pictured to the right are Cedar & Pounce taking a nap.
